While driving around Gretna, you may see the delightful trolley on the roadways. A blast from the past, the trolley has wooden seats, leather hand grips, brass guardrails and a bell!

Its mission is to provide transportation for the elderly. In the past Gretna seniors only had access to a smaller, older van that only carried nine people. This ample new trolley can take more than double that and is aesthetically pleasing. The trolley services other needs, like being used to shuttle people around when there are special events and parking is limited.
